Mohs Surgery at Roseburg Dermatology
Dr. Heath is Roseburg’s only Mohs Surgeon in Residence—that means post-op and follow-up care with same physician that removed your skin cancer.
Mohs surgery is a highly effective treatment for skin cancer. It involves removing thin layers of skin one at a time and examining each layer under a microscope right away. The process continues until no cancer cells are left.
This technique allows the Dr. Heath to remove all the cancer while saving as much healthy skin as possible—making it especially useful for areas like the face.
